The Transnational Repression Project
The Transnational Repression Project (TRP) is an academic initiative, housed at the University of Michigan’s Center for Political Studies, focused on studying transnational repression. The Project goals include:
1) Establish transnational repression as a sub-field of study,
2) Convene scholarly meetings to advance research and publications,
3) Build a repository for research and data on transnational repression,
4) Act as a bridge between the academic and policy communities working on this topic, and
5) Shed light on contemporary cases
