7/10/2024 – This piece discusses a lawsuit against the Washington think tank Middle East Institute (MEI), brought by a group called Zionist Advocacy Center (TZAC). The case alleged that MEI had improperly received aid under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), and was argued using laws intended to punish fraud. Author Michael Shaffer posits that this case is an example of lawfare, in which litigation is used as a strategy for targeting organizations perceived as critical of Israel.

11/5/2021 – Penned by TRP co-director Yousef Munayyer, this piece describes the Israeli repression network going after civil society groups critical of Israel's human rights abuses. Measures like designating Palestinian human rights groups as terrorist organizations allows Israel to suppress dissent without garnering significant reputational damage as a result. Munayyer argues that the U.S. and European allies should refuse to cooperate with Israel's repression campaign, and that Israel should suffer the same reputational consequences as other countries that engage in transnational repression.
