"On My Campus, I Am Afraid": China's Targeting of Overseas Students Stifles Rights - Amnesty International

5/12/2024 – Between 2018 and 2023, Amnesty International conducted in-depth interviews with 32 Chinese students who studied at universities in eight Western Europe and North America countries. These interviews reveal Chinese authorities' efforts to curtail academic freedom and other rights beyond their borders, and the actions taken to silence, control, or deter dissent and criticism by overseas Chinese students.
